This event provides a multitude of opportunities to South Asian youth and their parents
to engage their friends from other communities in a battle of the brains.
Indus Arts Council is bringing a ONE of a kind FAMILY EVENT - a Talent Show and Trivia where contestants will exhibit their talent and knowledge in world trivia, music, art, and speech. Individuals can compete in 4 different contests open to various ages.
PUBLIC SPEAKING in Urdu language: for ages 8-16
ART CONTEST: Paint Pakistani Festivals in Mughal style art: for ages 8-16
MUSIC CONTEST: play a Pakistani tune on any musical instrument: ages 8-16
WORLD TRIVIA: General Knowledge questions about sports and music from around the world and Pakistan: ages 17 to adult

The contests are designed to attract diverse communities for a knowledge and culture exchange, fulfilling the mission of the Indus Arts Council to bring harmony through such events.
It provides a platform for Urdu language students to use their newly gained skill in public and grow their confidence
The general knowledge trivia is similar to UIL competitions where contestants will showcase their command of world sports, music, culture, and history.
The family friendly event will encourage parents to be participants as well.
Total number of attendees is expected to be 200
Total number of final contestants is expected to be 30 - 40
South Asians, ages 8 - adult who can speak and read Urdu language
All communities, ages 8 - 16 who can play a musical instrument and/or are aspiring artists
Middle and high schools - students and teachers
